Tandem Skydive — 13,000 ft
13,000 FT · 60 SECTandem skydive from a Pilatus PC-6 Porter turbine aircraft, exiting at 13,000 ft. APF-certified instructor leads you through ~60 seconds of freefall, then a peaceful canopy ride over the Luoding countryside. The closest fun-jumper-friendly dropzone for Pearl River Delta visitors.
Three hours on site. Ninety seconds in the air.
China Skydivers (operating locally as Yingfei) runs out of Luoding Airport in Yunfu, Guangdong — about three hours by bus from Guangzhou and the only fun-jumper-friendly outdoor dropzone within practical day-trip range of the Pearl River Delta. The aircraft is a brand-new Pilatus PC-6 Porter turbine, climbing to 13,000 ft for around sixty seconds of freefall over the rural Yunfu countryside before a multi-minute canopy ride down to the airfield. Operations run year-round, seven days a week. The dropzone is USPA-affiliated and run by APF-certified instructors — the dual accreditation is unusual in China and reflects the operator's cross-border instructor pipeline. Tandem first-timers welcome, the full USPA Accelerated Free Fall licensing curriculum runs continuously, and licensed sport jumpers can fun-jump alongside students. Pickup from Luoding City makes the bus trip practical; staying overnight after the jump is the norm rather than turning around same-day. The right jump for travellers anchored in Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, or Macau who want an outdoor jump within mainland China, for Chinese AFF students pursuing a USPA licence domestically rather than travelling to Thailand or the US, and for visiting licensed jumpers wanting to add China to their logbook. iFly Shenzhen is the indoor alternative if you're staying closer to the city — but for the full outdoor experience with a turbine aircraft and aviation-grade airfield, Luoding is the only credible commercial option in southern China. Within the SIA catalogue this is mainland China's only outdoor entry — the alternatives within practical reach of the Pearl River Delta are all indoor tunnels — so for an actual canopy ride inside China, Luoding is the list.
Check in, weigh in, sign the USPA-standard waiver. Twenty minutes of harness fitting and emergency-procedure briefing with your tandem master.
Bench-seated, headphones on, door closed. The aircraft climbs to 13,000 ft — the coastline or landscape shrinks under you.
Door open. Roll out. Terminal velocity. Tandem master triggers the canopy at 5,000 ft.
Calm five-minute ride down. You take the toggles for a minute. Grass landing at the airfield.

Cancellation & policies.
Contact operator for cancellation terms — China Skydivers does not publish a standard policy publicly.
Skydiving is weather-dependent. If the dropzone can't fly safely they'll reschedule you at no charge — or arrange a full refund if a new date doesn't suit.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. The dropzone confirms the timing.
After booking you’ll be in direct contact with the dropzone — any change or refund is arranged with them. SiA’s team is here if you need us.
Eight real anxieties, addressed.
Tandem operators set their own weight limit (commonly around 90–115 kg) and confirm borderline cases on the day — check the exact limit with this dropzone when you enquire. AFF students have no upper limit but must fit the rig comfortably.
Airfield gate — operator shares the exact pin and driving directions in the inquiry reply. Luoding is the customer-facing hub.
Most jumpers drive or use Grab/Bolt. Free on-site parking. Plan a 2-hour buffer before your manifest slot for traffic + check-in.
Block 3–4 hours on site for tandem (briefing + climb + jump + canopy). AFF students should plan a full day.
