Skyhigh India's Datana Airstrip operation in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, is a seasonal camp run by India's only USPA Foreign Affiliate dropzone. Skyhigh run Ujjain as a yearly camp rather than a year-round base, and the operator announces each season's dates ahead of time — we publish them here as soon as they are confirmed. The equipment and standards travel with the team: Sigma tandem systems, USPA-licensed instructors with national-award records and thousands of jumps, DGCA-certified aircraft and SOPs, and dual-canopy rigs with an automatic activation device on every reserve. Tandems exit the Cessna 182-P at 10,000 ft after roughly an hour of ground training — freefall runs 20–30 seconds at around 220 km/h before a five-to-six-minute canopy ride over the Malwa plateau. Ujjain itself is one of India's seven sacred cities, home of the Mahakaleshwar temple and a host city of the Kumbh Mela; the airstrip sits about an hour by road from Indore, the nearest airport city, which makes the jump an easy add-on to a central-India itinerary. Pricing starts around ₹37,759 for the entry tandem, with a video package above it and a full AFF programme for those starting a licence — Skyhigh is one of very few operations in India where AFF is possible at all. The operator has run for nine-plus years with a clean safety record and is steadily adding seasonal bases across India. One thing to keep in mind is that you’ll have to have patience because of safety precautions they take for each sortie and according to that your number to skydive will come. The reason why I’m mentioning this is that, I reached there on time but I was the last sortie which drained a lot of my energy as each sortie took around 30-45 mins and there were 9 sorties before me. They need to pair you with an instructor according to your height and weight so you can be the first or last sortie, there’s no such thing as first come first serve. So, stay calm and composed, everyone in there is very professional and doing their job which is to get you to land safely and make this activity a memorable experience for you. Thank You SkyHigh India for making my dreams come true…❤️❤️❤️

Mind you that the experiance, i had at Spain was No where near Skyhigh India. The comfort level and personal treatment one experiences at Skyhigh India is unfathomable. I would like to applaud Brig Shekhawat, Mr Digvijay and Mr Rudra for setting up an amazingly professional team, and providing us opportunity to skydive. My hubby, and professional Skydiving Instructor K.K for making entire thrilling experience so simple. Right from, coordinating staff, Mr Kumar, Mr Radhey. Co Instructors esp Capt Promod Shinde. Most experienced pilot Capt Arun, highly experienced parachute packer Mr Manoj and last but not the least the media expert Mr Ishant along with their supporting staff, had gone out of the way to enable me world class skydiving experience. Top notch instructors, top notch safety standards, personal touch , no match to any foreign DropZones. A big applaud to entire Team Skyhigh for bringing this thrilling experience of skydiving in India.
