Skydiving in India runs through one operator done properly rather than many done loosely: Skyhigh India, the country's established DGCA-approved and USPA-affiliated operation. Tandems jump from 10,000 feet at INR 37,759, flying at Narnaul in Haryana — roughly two to three hours from Delhi depending on traffic — with seasonal camps at Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh and Jamshedpur in Jharkhand carrying the dropzone to central and eastern India. Skyhigh announce their camp dates each year rather than working to a fixed calendar, so check the Ujjain and Jamshedpur listings before planning travel around a jump. Broadly, October to March is India's post-monsoon window, when the air is dry and the mornings calm. India is also one of the few places in South Asia to earn a licence without leaving the region: the full AFF programme runs INR 2,50,000 under USPA-affiliated instruction.
