What to expect

What a jump day will look like.

Skydive Bali is Indonesia's first permanently based commercial dropzone, targeting 2027 at Desa Kelating in Tabanan, on Bali's west coast. Tandem exits come from a Pilatus PC-6 Porter turbine over the Kelating rice terraces, with the Indian Ocean on one side and Gunung Batukaru inland. Exits will run between 10,000 and 13,000 ft in the opening months, moving to 13,000 ft as standard once the airspace arrangement is settled. Tandem only at launch, with AFF to follow. The dropzone operates from a grass runway, and civil aviation approvals are in place with DGCA, FASI, AirNav Indonesia and OTBAN Bali. Indonesia has never had a permanent commercial outdoor dropzone serving visiting jumpers — the archipelago's only current listing is an indoor wind tunnel in Jakarta — so this is the one to watch if you want a real exit in Bali rather than a tunnel session. Prices are not yet confirmed. Join the list and we will tell you the day it opens.

Common questions

Eight real anxieties, addressed.

Tandem operators set their own weight limit (commonly around 90–115 kg) and confirm borderline cases on the day — check the exact limit with this dropzone when you enquire. AFF students have no upper limit but must fit the rig comfortably.
