Three hours on site. Ninety seconds in the air.
Skydive Maldives operates from Ifuru Island in Raa Atoll — the Maldives' first and only permanent commercial dropzone, with its own dedicated airfield on the island. The aircraft is a Cessna Caravan 208 turbine (950 hp), climbing to 13,500 ft for around sixty seconds of freefall over an open landscape of turquoise atolls, coral reefs, sandbanks, and the Indian Ocean horizon — a visual experience few other commercial dropzones in the world can match. Operations run mid-December through end of March only, the four-month season when North Indian Ocean weather is most settled. Four packages structure the offering: $699 standard tandem, scaling up to the $1,299 Secret Island Royal (private island landing, champagne and canapés, an excursion to nearby 1700s ruins). The operation is led by Leslie Farkas (6,000+ total jumps, 5,000+ tandem instructor jumps, Skydive School Examiner) with a Master Rigger overseeing 47,000+ pack jobs of operational gear inspection — credentialing that's unusually deep for an operation just two years into commercial running. The dropzone is partnered with Ifuru Island Resort (147 beach suites); resort guests get priority scheduling. The right jump for honeymooners and couples already on a Maldives itinerary, for travellers willing to plan around the December–March season window (the rest of the year the operation closes), and for anyone wanting a beach-landing tandem over open ocean rather than coastline. Skydive Sri Lanka's Bentota beach landing is the closest alternative for the beach-finish product — Maldives trades land access and a higher price point for true atoll-isolation scenery.

Cancellation & policies.
Contact operator for cancellation and rescheduling terms.
Skydiving is weather-dependent. If the dropzone can't fly safely they'll reschedule you at no charge — or arrange a full refund if a new date doesn't suit.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. The dropzone confirms the timing.
After booking you’ll be in direct contact with the dropzone — any change or refund is arranged with them. SiA’s team is here if you need us.
Eight real anxieties, addressed.
Tandem operators set their own weight limit (commonly around 90–115 kg) and confirm borderline cases on the day — check the exact limit with this dropzone when you enquire. AFF students have no upper limit but must fit the rig comfortably.
My second jump, first in the Maldives and what an experience!! The team are fantastic and love what they do. Special thanks to Chris who took me down and to all those involved. If you get the chance, it's a must do!
A marvel, a dream come true to be able to jump in paradise someday. A fantastic team, 100% recommended!
Skydiving in the Maldives is a dream come true.
Airfield gate — operator shares the exact pin and driving directions in the inquiry reply. Ifuru Island is the customer-facing hub.
Most jumpers drive or use Grab/Bolt. Free on-site parking. Plan a 2-hour buffer before your manifest slot for traffic + check-in.
Block 3–4 hours on site for tandem (briefing + climb + jump + canopy). AFF students should plan a full day.
