Everest Skydive — Tandem Expedition (11 Days)
23,000 FT · 60 SECEverest Base Camp Extension Trek — Skydive (9 Days)
23,000 FT · 60 SECThe only commercial skydive over the Khumbu.
Everest Skydive is the only operator in the world running commercial skydives above the Khumbu region of Nepal — at 21,000 ft from an AS350 B3 Ecureuil high-altitude helicopter, with an option to push to 23,000 ft on solo jumps. From exit you'll see Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Nuptse all in the same frame before freefall begins. The canopy ride ends at Syangboche Airfield (12,402 ft) — the world's highest commercial drop zone — or at Amadablam Base Camp (15,000 ft) on the extended option. This is not a "show up and jump" product. It's sold as a fully-catered 11-day expedition: fly into Kathmandu, acclimatisation trek into the Khumbu, ground briefings, supplemental oxygen training, and the jump itself on day 7 or 8. A shorter 9-day Base Camp Extension Trek variant is offered. Season is autumn only — October and November are peak. Tandem packages start from $25,000 USD; solo from $30,000. The operation has been running for over fifteen years with USPA-recognised staffing. The right candidate is an experienced traveller with high-altitude trekking comfort and either a tandem-jump openness or an existing skydiving licence. This is bucket-list territory, not a weekend outing — first-time skydivers should look at Dropzone Thailand, Skydive Dubai, or Pokhara Skydive instead. For those who do book it, no other operator delivers what this one does: the world's highest commercial freefall, above the world's highest mountain. Tandem pricing starts around USD 22,000 in the current calendar, and every itinerary builds in acclimatisation days rather than treating the jump as a stand-alone stunt. By cost and logistics it is the most ambitious product in the SIA catalogue — the only one where the landing zone sits higher than most European ski summits.
Check in, weigh in, sign the waiver. Harness fitting and emergency-procedure briefing with your tandem master.
No jump run and no bench seats — the helicopter climbs to 23,000 ft and comes to a hover with the door already open.
Step off into still air. A hover exit has no relative wind, so the first seconds are a straight drop rather than a push into the airflow.
Calm ride down. You take the toggles for a minute before your instructor sets up the final approach.

Eight real anxieties, addressed.
Tandem operators set their own weight limit (commonly around 90–115 kg) and confirm borderline cases on the day — check the exact limit with this dropzone when you enquire. AFF students have no upper limit but must fit the rig comfortably.
Everest Skydive 2020 is one of the most thrilling adventure experiences on earth. Skydive from an altitude of 7000 m from an AS 350B helicopter on the backdrop of Mount Everest and land in Syangboche airstrip 3761 m or Mount Amadablam base camp 4572 m. You will make a total of three jumps in three consecutive days. Your tandem instructor will show you a 360-degree view of the Himalayas in the region. An aerial cameraman will also jump with you to make your video and photos so that you can cherish the memory for your lifetime.
Airfield gate — operator shares the exact pin and driving directions in the inquiry reply. Syangboche is the customer-facing hub.
Most jumpers drive or use Pathao or inDrive. Parking and transfer arrangements vary by airfield — the operator confirms specifics in the inquiry reply. Plan a 2-hour buffer before your manifest slot for traffic and check-in.
Block 3–4 hours on site for tandem (briefing + climb + jump + canopy). AFF students should plan a full day.
