SkyKef is the largest skydiving school in Israel — a club that has run for more than two decades from Sde Teiman Airfield outside Be'er Sheva, about an hour and a quarter from Tel Aviv, and that among other things trains military jumpers. For tandem passengers the headline is the aircraft: a twin-turbine Skyvan, the biggest jump plane in the country, with a full-width rear door — you exit walking off a tailgate with the Negev opening up below, the same exit you have seen in the movies. Tandems run from two altitudes, 10,000 ft or 12,000 ft, the higher tier buying roughly 50 seconds of freefall over a landscape that splits the difference between desert and the green southern lowlands. Photo and video options run from instructor selfie-cam packages to a dedicated outside camera flyer jumping alongside — the rear-door exit geometry is what makes the second angle work. The club operates year-round, six-plus days a week with shorter Friday–Saturday hours, and the dropzone doubles as a day out: a large picnic compound and a British-style bar-restaurant overlook the landing area, so spectators are genuinely catered for rather than tolerated. Hebrew, English and Russian are spoken, and hundreds of Google reviews hold a consistent 4.7+ rating. Booking runs on a live availability calendar, with online pricing below walk-up rates. The right jump for travellers based around Tel Aviv or Jerusalem who want the full big-aircraft experience — the Skyvan tailgate exit is unique in Israel and rare anywhere in Asia or the Middle East.
Check in, weigh in, sign the waiver. Twenty minutes of harness fitting and emergency-procedure briefing with your tandem master.
Bench-seated, headphones on, door closed. The aircraft climbs to 12,000 ft — the landscape shrinks under you.
Door open. Roll out. Terminal velocity. Your tandem master triggers the canopy around 5,000 ft.
Calm five-minute ride down. You take the toggles for a minute before your instructor sets up the final approach.
Make the day longer than the jump.

Contact operator for cancellation and rescheduling terms.
Skydiving is weather-dependent. If the dropzone can't fly safely they'll reschedule you at no charge — or arrange a full refund if a new date doesn't suit.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. The dropzone confirms the timing.
After booking you’ll be in direct contact with the dropzone — any change or refund is arranged with them. SiA’s team is here if you need us.
Eight real anxieties, addressed.
Tandem operators set their own weight limit (commonly around 90–115 kg) and confirm borderline cases on the day — check the exact limit with this dropzone when you enquire. AFF students have no upper limit but must fit the rig comfortably.
Definitely recommend SkyKef. My personal instructor Raz was the best! Try to come earlier than the scheduled time since you will probably spend at least an hour waiting for your turn. Also there's two options for photoshoot: the first is a camera mounted on the instructor's wrist and he does the shooting. The second one is another jumper with a camera shooting from distance. The latter option will require additional fees.
best experience ever. And they are highly professional, they give you a VIP treatment. I highly recommend them, this is why I had to do skydiving for the second time with them
Awesome experiance . Instructors are well trained and talented professionals. 👍👍🤙
Airfield gate — operator shares the exact pin and driving directions in the inquiry reply. Be'er Sheva is the customer-facing hub.
Most jumpers drive or use Gett. Parking and transfer arrangements vary by airfield — the operator confirms specifics in the inquiry reply. Plan a 2-hour buffer before your manifest slot for traffic and check-in.
Block 3–4 hours on site for tandem (briefing + climb + jump + canopy). AFF students should plan a full day.
