About Skydiving in Manama
Bahrain's only skydiving experience is Gravity Indoor in central Manama, a 14-foot vertical wind tunnel that runs year-round, regardless of weather, with first-timer packages from BHD 19 (about USD 50). The location is walking distance from City Centre Mall and a short cab from Manama Souq, easy to slot into a half-day visit or layover. First-time packages are 1-2 minutes of airtime split into two flights with an instructor; licensed flyer slots and group/corporate sessions go up to BHD 225 for an hour of chamber time at maximum power. The instructor team is USPA-trained, briefings run in English and Arabic, and the minimum age is 4 years for kids' programs and 7 for the standard adult package. Weight cap is 100 kg; pregnant women and recent shoulder/back surgery patients are excluded for safety. No outdoor skydiving operates in Bahrain — the airspace doesn't support a civilian dropzone — so this indoor tunnel covers the full Bahraini skydiving market on its own.
