What to expect

The closest dropzone to central Tokyo.

Skydive Nippon operates from Honda Airport in Kawajima, Saitama — the closest dropzone to central Tokyo, roughly 45 minutes from Tokyo Station via Okegawa. Exits are from 13,000 ft (about 4,000 m), the highest tandem exit altitude of any dropzone in Japan, giving 40 to 50 seconds of freefall followed by a four to five minute canopy ride. On clear days Mount Fuji is visible from under canopy. The operation succeeded Tokyo Skydiving Club at the same airfield.
