Dubai is the most photographed tandem skydive on earth. Skydive Dubai operates two outdoor dropzones — the Palm DZ over Palm Jumeirah for the iconic island-and-coastline freefall, and the Desert Campus over the Margham dunes for a quieter sunrise jump — with the city's two indoor wind tunnels, iFly Dubai at Mirdif and Inflight Dubai at City Centre Mirdif, completing the spectrum from first-timer to licensed flyer. Best season is October through April when temperatures sit between 18-30°C and conditions are stable; May-September is hot, sometimes 45°C, and many tandems get rescheduled. The Palm DZ is a 25-minute taxi from Downtown Dubai; the Desert Campus a 45-minute drive from the Marina. Tandem packages start at AED 179 (indoor) and AED 1,999 (Palm), with handcam and HD video add-ons. AFF licensing courses run year-round at the Desert Campus through Skydive Dubai's USPA-aligned program. Most visitors combine the jump with Burj Khalifa or Dubai Mall — easy half-day plans, no overnight required at the dropzone.
