Jumping in Ar Rass, explained.
Ar Rass sits in Al Qassim province, about 320 km north-west of Riyadh — roughly a three-hour drive, not a Riyadh day trip. It is the base for Unique Clouds Skydiving, Saudi Arabia's first GACA-licensed commercial tandem dropzone and a USPA member club, flying from a private strip in the farmland south-east of town. Jumps are currently paused and we have not been able to reach the operator on any channel, so nothing here is bookable right now. When running, tandems started at SAR 1,800 and the season ran October to April — the summer months are too hot for safe outdoor jumping. Access is via Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz International (ELQ) at Buraydah, about an hour away, or by road from Riyadh.

What is Unique Clouds Skydiving?
Saudi Arabia's first GACA-licensed commercial dropzone and a USPA member club — the only commercial tandem operation in the Kingdom holding both Saudi civil aviation licensing and USPA accreditation. It operates from Al Qassim, roughly three hours' drive north of Riyadh through the central desert.
What was the jump like, and what did it cost?
Tandems exited a Cessna 208 Caravan at 13,000 ft over the Qassim agricultural plains and oasis landscape, giving around sixty seconds of freefall. Three tiers were published: SAR 1,800 for the standard tandem, SAR 2,000 with instructor hand-cam footage, and SAR 2,300 with an outside camera flyer. A full eight-level AFF programme was listed at SAR 10,000. Those are the last published prices, and nothing is bookable while the dropzone is closed.

AERODIUM Superfly, the Kingdom's first vertical wind tunnel, at Boulevard World in Riyadh. It runs on the Riyadh Season calendar rather than year-round — the published window is October to May — so it is out of season over the summer. It is indoor bodyflight, not a tandem jump.
