The state of the sky in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia has one GACA-licensed commercial tandem dropzone — Unique Clouds at Ar Rass in Al Qassim, roughly three hours north-west of Riyadh — and it is currently paused. We have not been able to reach the operator on any channel, so we are not taking bookings for it and we will not pretend otherwise. The only other listing in the Kingdom is indoor: AERODIUM Superfly at Boulevard World in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's first vertical wind tunnel, which runs on the Riyadh Season calendar rather than year-round and is closed between seasons. There is no tandem dropzone in Riyadh, Jeddah or Medina that we can verify. If you need a jump in the Gulf in the meantime, Skydive Dubai and Kuwait are the nearest reliably operating options. Vision 2030 is moving quickly and we expect this to change — when it does, this page will say so.

Can you skydive in Saudi Arabia right now?
Not on a tandem, no. The Kingdom's only GACA-licensed commercial dropzone, Unique Clouds at Ar Rass, is currently paused and we have not been able to reach the operator. The one other listing is an indoor wind tunnel in Riyadh that runs on the Riyadh Season calendar and is closed between seasons.
Where is Saudi Arabia's dropzone?
Ar Rass, in Al Qassim province — about 320 km north-west of Riyadh, roughly a three-hour drive. It is not a Riyadh day trip, and there is no dropzone in Riyadh, Jeddah or Medina that we can verify.
What did a tandem cost when it was running?
Unique Clouds listed tandems from SAR 1,800 at 13,000 ft, with an AFF licensing course from SAR 10,000. Those were the published prices before operations paused; we would re-confirm them against the operator before anyone books.
When is the season?
October to April. The central desert is too hot for safe outdoor jumping through the summer, so even once the dropzone reopens, May to September is out regardless.
Where else can I jump in the Gulf?
Skydive Dubai runs two dropzones in the UAE and is the nearest reliably operating tandem option. Kuwait has a tandem dropzone, and Bahrain has an indoor wind tunnel.
