About Skydiving in Pokhara

Pokhara is Nepal's adventure capital and the launch point for one of the most dramatic tandem skydives on earth — three Himalayan ranges (Annapurna, Machhapuchhre/Fishtail, and Dhaulagiri) frame the freefall, with Phewa Lake and the city directly below. Skydive Nepal runs Pokhara operations on two windows per year: October-November (post-monsoon clarity, the cleanest air of the year) and March-April (pre-monsoon, warming temperatures). Outside those windows the dropzone is closed. Tandem packages start at USD 850 for the standard 10,000 ft jump and USD 1,200 with HD video and post-jump photos delivered same-day. Pokhara is a 30-minute domestic flight from Kathmandu (Buddha Air, Yeti Airlines) or a 6-hour scenic drive via Prithvi Highway. Most jumpers combine with paragliding from Sarangkot, the Annapurna Base Camp trek, or a 2-3 day Phewa Lake stay. The Everest expedition jump (USD 22,000-30,000) is a separate Syangboche-based product.
